Which exemplifies Ernesto's considerable ability to sell as innovative something mainly intended to save money.

Incidentally, I'm a Colnago fan as well, though not to the extent many folks are. I really like the overall design and aesthetics of the early 70's bikes. I also like the Master a lot, and would love to have an early Nuovo Mexico. I have owned the aforementioned '71 Super, as well as a master Equilateral, though I've sold both. Had to have at least one, which is why there is a '79 the same color as my old '71 sitting in the garage. Picked it up quite cheaply, but it cosmetically needs a little help. In light of this thread, I'll move it up in the queue.
