I am also not a trek fan at all although have owned and still have a older Trek 660s racing with Modolo stuff. Had a fuel ex 8 mtb which was alright. They became run of the mill and put cheaper stuff on their frames yet charged the same from year to year. Went almost entirely to Asia for builds.
Marketed their OCLV too much (Optimal compaction Low void), all carbon fiber frames are basically the same thing.
