Thanks SANTE POLLASTRI - wish I was in Rome.
Thanks Picchio Special, always constructive comments. How could you sell that wonderful 71 Colnago? It looked spectacular. I Hope the 79 model fills the hole.
gomango, i thank you for your generous comments. I hope you get back into the Colnago Owners club soon.
Your comments are valued, as usual, Bianchigirll. I often consider whether I would rather have a Bianchi or a Colnago or a Cinelli if I could only have one bike. This question will always go on inside my head but thankfully I will never have only one bike.
Thanks Michael Angelo. The stem is a favourite of mine. It is an ITM 'Colnago' engraved stem but I have never known the model name. It swoops down menacingly to hold an ITM Pro 2 bar.
Italuminium I always value your comments. Thanks for the positive feedback.
RobbieTunes you aways have an opinion which stems from a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for your comments and insight.
Giacomo 1 I appreciate your philosophical response. Owning a beautiful bicycle is so much more than having a flashy form of transport.
Hi Henry III. I also have an Aluminium (No Carbon) Colnago like you. It is such a fast frame and an exhilarating ride - but don't tell anyone about that - I'm not ready for that revelation yet.
Hi -holiday76 - sorry to read about your Colnago 'going on the chopping block'. I saw it in another post and was drawn to it. It looks spectacular. It is probably the most iconic Colnago paint scheme there is. I really hope you can keep it. Best wishes it that department.
Thanks all for your interest and comments.
