Trek makes great bikes. Don't know what you think they are missing. Good options for fitting. Pricey.
My main complaint is that they put Trek all over the bike, 3x each side, so you have to be a rolling billboard for them. And the colors are fugly. Oh, and they are tight with the warranty issues, remember Waterockets thread with the BB....
I still fancy a 5 or 6 series Madone some day.
Well I agree with the comments about the name plastered everywhere. But I can't agree with the warranty comments. My 2010 4.5 frame was trashed basically due to what I suspect was a screw-up by my LBS mechanic. Trek came through and replaced the frame with a higher end 2011 5.9. Got to give them props for that.
