I am in need of some road bike slicks and would like to hear from some fellow riders as to their recommendations. I just had a blowout on my rear tire today after about 1300 miles. I think the tire (Maxxis) was rated for 1000 miles. Is this about right or does this seem like a low number of miles for a road slick? Any how, what do you ride and would you buy the same tire again? Thanks for your advice.
