When my bike was toast in an accident, I sold all the good parts on Craigslist and stated that the bike was in an accident. People don't care if they're getting a good deal, and they weren't the parts that were directly damaged. I even sold a tire that had a torn sidewall because the kid said he'd give it a shot. Sold it all pretty damn quick, too.
