My impression is that "reasonably" translates to "pretty d*mn sure" - and, sensibly, it only seems to apply if you won't interfere with pedestrians or with traffic that has the green light.
I have shortened my commute by at least six minutes! What a productive thread this had been. But this post is gold dust. Currently living in WI this substantiates conversations I have had and is something I will literally keep in my back pocket. As an added bonus I have also learned alot about how actuators work.
