Spend some time reading threads here plus more at www.sheldonbrown.com and www.parktool.com and you'll quickly learn a lot. You'll learn even more buying a spare bike to work on and improve your skills.
Hopefully if anything they're 8$ on ebay so they won't charge me that much. Ok thanks I'll check those out!
