if he does not mind loosing some of the top end you could always find something like a 15-30 FW and maybe that will work on the current RD
That sounds great. I was thinking a Shimano Alivio long cage derailleur and a 14-34 Megarange if it played nicely with the front derailleur. He has no problem with eliminating the higher gearing. He has 2 Regina corncobs that he's already had removed because he doesn't want to go fast. Thanks BG!
