Bikes: 2010 GT Tachyon 3.0

Eliminated that last trip

$1.60 each way on the light rail gets me within a third of a mile of everywhere I shop, and the light rail station is about a third of a mile away. So work is a 7 mile commute, and Wegman's and the Farmer's Markets are like 1/2 mile of biking.

Win. There goes the 16-18 mile one way that I eliminated from my routine to diminish my car usage (I did it this weekend in the car, went from under 20 miles to almost 80 miles because of trips to two places that I can now avoid using the car for).

Seriously considering a full inspection, tune-up, body work, and sell the car after I get a motorcycle, or maybe just a motor scooter and get the motorcycle later. I need something with an engine; the bike has limited range and severely limited use. I can't go biking around 50 miles a day; I can drive that much but it's expensive on fuel and maintenance and such. Open vehicles are easier for me to handle, as are 2 wheelers.

Yeah the car free thing is nuttery, but honestly I'm not using it ATM. Holding this thing is nutty.
