I started using them after blowing spokes left and right. I have not blown a spoke yet since and actualy had a guy fall on the front one last year during the STP when he couldn't unclip as we came to a stop -it didn't even untrue it. I really like these rims they are not the lightest but they are definitly not over weight either. I used my Coda Expert hubs with them and they spin for days. I bought them for 50 bucks a rim.
Do it you won't regret it.
