Yowza! That's an ol skool fork! I'm gonna assume it's for an equally old frame. If so, there are still some decent forks that have canti bosses and short travel for an older frame. Check out the lower end lines of Rock Shox and Manitou. Just using the bike to tow around a trailer? How about a rigid fork? Can be had with canti bosses, cheap and easy to source.

OP - offer up that fork on ebay and the retro bike forums for sale. It might fetch a pretty penny to fund the bike rebuild.
