I understand your point, but some of us have a sense of duty to try, as best we can, to preserve our right to operate as drivers of vehicles against the forty-year serious effort by government, supported by both motorists and bicycle advocates, to remove that right. We also feel a sense of duty to teach people who desire to cycle safely and lawfully in accordance with the rules of the road for drivers of vehicles.

I don't know how you ride or what your opinions are, whether you think that we are doing the right things or the wrong things, but I recommend that you think seriously about the situation in which American cyclists are caught.
