To address the silly notion that I am somehow 'paying' for my Garminlike services on my phone, consider that I have a cell phone anyway, and the applications I use for tracking my rides are free. If I had a Garmin, it would have no effect on my cell phone plan.

Rooting a phone is easier than making toast. Unrooting it is equally as easy. It does void the warranty, but unrooting it takes care of that.

I returned my original 500 because it would not acquire satellite. The replacement worked fine. My Incredible also works fine and I have not had to return it. A canopy of trees has not yet affected my cell signal, however it does affect Garmin. This is indisputable fact.

The people who prefer Tang are astronauts. I haven't seen Tang since the 70's.
