The battery on my decidedly NON-smartphone ran out yesterday after 4 or 5 days. That was ok, I didn't need it. Plugged it in when I got home from errands.
Like many others, I have no need for a smartphone and I'm not willing to pay for the data plan. Got too many other demands on our rather small income.
You're obviously happy with your smartphone, and that's great. But some of us just aren't interested in owning one.
Oh, and some of us actually ride outside of cell range. I have absolutely zero signal in many places of my regular routes.
