Talked a bit with the woman that won 3 golds, 1 or 2 silvers, 1 or 2 bronzes at Masters Nationals. She said that it's tough talking about her training with non-cyclists or even with regular cyclists. She sheepishly admitted that many of her training days are spent doing some sprints up and down her street (she has a coach that dictates a lot of her training plans). She might spend 30 or 40 minutes training, rarely rides very far. It was interesting learning that. Obviously she knows how to suffer, but still.
