Here is my very practical commuter. I posted this in a couple of other relevant threads so sorry if it's been seen before. I used to ride on risers or bullhorns but now I'm upright and I dig it. I'm in the process of restoring an old Raleigh sports but I got tired of waiting so I turned this in to a townie. This is about as comfortable of a bike as I've ever ridden.
