Bikes: 2009 Spooky (cracked frame), 2006 Curtlo, 2002 Lemond (current race bike) Zurich, 1987 Serotta Colorado, 1986 Cannondale for commuting, a 1984 Cannondale on loan to my son

Friday I rode for 2 hours and it felt like a much harder workout than the speed I was going. Then I noticed on the way to the team ride this morning that my front brake wasn't releasing enough and I had a lot of brake rub. Fortunately the owner of the sponsor shop was there and I got a little PB Blaster and lube to clean up the pivots in my brake lever assembly. Much better!

Team mate Andrea was killing us on the team ride today. He must be on a bit of good form.

We pretty much did the Hipp Ride route to Micanopy. Andrea was on the front most of the time drilling it at 28 to 29 mph. We went over the top of the little hill near the start of Angle Road at 25 mph. When Andrea wasn't pulling Ben Page would be there dragging us up the road at 25 mph. That felt like coasting in comparison.

Then CR 346 through Evinston and down to Macintosh. A bit later I rolled OTB just before a turn to the South as per my plan because I needed to get back early. I probably would have been OTB then anyway. Eating something for breakfast might also have been a good idea.
