first off, take your parts off that frame and throw it in the nearest dumpster. you have a dent on both sides of the TT in the same spot. also, the fork could be original (see link below) but if it is not original it would indicate to me a possible front end collision at some point requiring a replacement.

it's not the gentle tumble that's going to really hurt you, it's where you tumble. for example, 'oh whoopsy, i just fell on my face because my top tube folded over, golly... oh crap?!?! here comes one of my fellow college studest in her SUV... and she's texting while driving, NOOOOO!!!!

i mean seriously, think about it.

on the other hand, my guess is low low end 1987 pile of scrap metal, throw it away.... oh wait, just kidding, a 1987 low end Fuji something. the lugs, rear drops, bottom of TT brake cable guides, cable stop braze-ons all over, seat cluster and serial match what would be on a Fuji of that era

the fork looks nothing like what Cattywompus posted other than it has that line across the top, but so does my PX10 with Nervex lugs/crown. that fork could be from anything and is even lower end than the frame.

can i ask why you chose to save this frame from the junker when you seem to have money to thrown at some new parts and powdercoat?
