Saturday - reunion ride with my now-defunct club, in honor of our friend who got run over by a car last week. We road by the hospital at the beginning and got to see her - in a wheelchair, with a crushed pelvis, two broken vertebrae, a broken fibula, and a huge amount of road rash. She's expected to make a full recovery, which is a miracle, and is in pretty good spirits. 30 mile ride, pretty fast but I sat in so it was mellow effort.
Sunday - Deer Creek Challenge century, 103 miles and 12,000' climbing. Did it alone, which turned out great, as I rode with a powermeter and a goal to keep it under 90% of LT (where the steepness allowed, which wasn't everywhere).
