first off, thanks for the props. she rides so smooth, a little on the heavy side, but its no Super Light, and for a 70something, the frame is in good shape. krylon paint, for those that must know, with rustoleum primer. if you want a rough build estimate, i would say somewhere in the neighborhood of $500-$550, give i already had the frame. ebay is the best bike shop i know, just make sure you have all your measurements and whatnot ready, like maybe buy wheels before brakes so you know your reach measurements, etc. this was a fun project, i suggest you build your own.

for those of you telling me i wasted my time, i dont really care what you have to say. 500 bucks isnt a bad amount to drop on a custom build. and this is coming from someone who knows. i recently spent $2000 or more on a mostly nos 88 peugeot poject. i know what im doing and what bikes are worth using good parts on. who cares if it isnt a bianchi, or a colnago, or whatever it is snooty people ride when they think theyre cool for riding vintage. the value of the bike lands in the fact that he loves what he rides and he will never see another bike remotely similar, unless its a copy. so, shove your opinion elsewhere unless you want me to rip your projects apart, given you even do your own wrenching, let alone building.
