"Big Yellow Triangle" - good idea or not?

I see that many people believe cyclists should behave like motor vehicles (and I acknowledge opposite views), and that in the opinion of some folks, we are slow moving vehicles according to the law, so motorists should treat us as such.

Comment, please, on the idea of fastening a big yellow "slow moving vehicle" triangle to the back of my seat. And, does anyone know where to find a cycling shirt or jersey with a yellow triangle emblem on it?

Here in Suffolk County, NY, we have twice the number of cyclists dying on the road compared to all other counties in NY State, according to a recent story in Newsday. I ride with lights flashing during the day to increase my visibility; I'm looking for other ways to preserve my life and health while still enjoying time in the saddle.
