When I tipped over, I was surprised by a car and stopped abruptly, despite technically having the right of way but obviously a bit more at stake. Still clipped in with both feet, I went over. Very tame bump on elbow, bruise on hip. No snakebite, but more importantly no pedestrian witnesses.
I was clipped in and just started to move forward when an ambulance turned on its siren behind me. I stopped, looked, and then realized I forgot to clip out.
I very elegantly rolled over onto the sidewalk, onto my back, and with the bike clipped in sticking straight up in the air. Lots of witnesses. No injuries. Just applause.
I wish there was a pretty girl involved. Oh well...
That will heal quickly. Keep it clean and your good to go.
