Bikes: 2007 Specialized Rockhopper Disc; Trek 7.5 FX

Nope. 4 of us were on 2.0"+ MTB tires. The other (the one that recommended the shortcut) was on whatever tires came with his Trek 7.5 Hybrid (700c).
