Can beat that--One rider and 6 flats without moving. They had been hedge cutting and one rider got a flat. No problem -change it but Air would not go in the New Tube. Off with tyre and the "New Tube" had a Rip around the valve. Repair the first tube and found two pin pricks so rebuild tyre and tube and up to pressure. Pack away repair kit and as we went away again- the repaired tube was flat. So that was 3 flats. Off with the tyre and hand inside and found several thorns that were about to come through. Reverse the tyre and pull out all the thorns- Borrowed tube and inflated and it stayed up- but the other tyre was very low on air. Off with the tyre and the tube- Reverse Tyre and pull out the Thorns and repair the tube. Pump up again and it went down- Off again and one of the patches was leaking. Brand new Borrowed Tube and finally we got going but we turned round and went home. If one rider could have that many problems- How many other riders had thorns in their tyres waiting to go down.
