Awesome info, Bianchigirll! So, you know some of the classic Vegas rides, like red rock loop, and mt. charleston...right now it is about 110 degrees in the valley, so I have been spending quite a bit of time riding up at 7000'-9000' at mt Charlie...
So, I pored over as many online old bianchi catalogs I could find, and could not locate my bike from the graphics...but I only coould find one website with japanese catalogs and one with US catalogs 81-87. Incidentally, the japanese catalogs showed bikes with chrome forks from 93-96...hmm...so perhaps this bike is a mix match.
How can you tell what campy components I have? record vs super record vs victory? please school me...I believe these are campy record, per the seller...
Good idea about the triple chainring...but I may just keep it how it is and stick to the flatter routes...or maybe challenge myself on the deer creek climb (1600' in 4.5 miles, 7-8% sustained with a few 9% kickers!) Quadzilla time!
I should be getting this bike in a week or two from germany...so I'll take a few more pics of the labels, stickers, serial number, etc and post them...thanks again for all the info!
