feels lighter in hand but it weighs pretty much the same as a 725 Mid - which is a hair lighter than my early '11 725. Not quite certain if that huge honkin' downtube makes for a stiffer frame (considering the 725 is pretty damn stiff already) or if it's just aesthetic. You can't really tell from any pics but that thing is sharp as a knife on the top edge. It's kind of awesome, actually.
Angie and I just came back from a fast-paced 22 mile loop and I decided that until my 725 does me some serious amounts of wrong, I'm not looking to replace her just yet.
