Those of us from the west tend to forget that things are different in the east. Those in the east tend to think everything is like it is in the east. Interstate riding, stealth camping, etc... They all vary TREMENDOUSLY in the west versus in the east.
I find it interesting reading these threads - seems like I can nearly always tell where people are from by the statements they make. Those who say a hammock is better are from the east where finding a cleared spot of ground big enough for a tent is nearly impossible. Those who prefer a tent are from the west where trees are limited. Those who say you can ride on the interstate are from the west. Those who say you can't are from the east.
So who's right? We all are - just right for different areas...
