Putting bikes on a MARTA bus
I would have posted this in the regional section, but I thought it'd get more views here and I'm trying to get some feedback before tomorrow.
MARTA buses have those bike racks at the front -- has anyone used them before? I haven't seen them up close. Do they secure the bike well or is there any chance it could fall off? How about scratching the bike?
And should I bring a U-bolt lock? The main purpose of the lock would be to prevent someone from casually grabbing my bike and riding off with it when the bus makes its stops.
Any advice from experience would be appreciated. Thanks!
