Wait you have an HDTV, an HD receiver and HD signal and you can't tell the difference?

Check your setup...please check your setup. I have a Sony KF50WE610 and the difference is stunning. DVD looks night and day better than digital SD signal and HD is another leap forward in image quality.

I would suggest getting a setup disc like Digital Video Essentials and AVIA and do a proper tuning of your display device. Also use the best possible cable set (DVI/HDMI>Component), make sure they are shielded (that doesn't mean you have to buy Monster Cable though), and make sure you aren't mingling them with your power cords as this will cause interfearance. Also check out www.avsforum.com for all the info you could EVER need on the subject.
