I hear you OP: On the one hand, the road conditions didn't happen overnight. The organizers should have been on top of this more than 24 hrs in advance. On the other hand, I wouldn't let it stop you from riding the century. Take it easy, be aware of the conditions and those around you so no one overlaps wheels. Be safe and have fun.
