First of all I would like to thank all of you well wishers. But to answer a few of the questions.

hp ncy - Yes it hurts to break a bone, even more so when said broken bone sticks through skin. The initial impact is not all that bad because you are not expecting it. But its all the stuff that happens after. Getting moved around (getting scraped off the pavement in my case), getting X-rays, doctors probing and twisting things. The orthopedic surgen actually tried to get my elbow joint back into place by pulling on my wrist. By far that hurt the most (even with all the pain meds). All I said was "can't we do this AFTER I'm unconscience!" He did say he was sorry, but did not get it back into place.

juf3m - This looks like its going to be a long time before things are back to normal. I have a big piece of missing bone that needs to grow back. If it does not grow back we're talking bone graph. I don't think you will see me on anymore metric centuries this year. I should know more tom. when I see that "I'll pull on your arm until you screem" doctor.

galen - No, no recient rain. I'm not sure you know but I live in MD too E.C. (Howard county) It happened the Monday after the Flatland Tour (if your a BBC member) the 20th.

The road I was on is new, just opened a few months ago and I also road it before it was offically opened. It cuts through a golf course to a new housing devl. There is only brush now between the road and golf course, trees were cleared to make way for the road. It was an old limb (light brown, no bark). I'm thinking it was in the way of a golfer who tossed it into (over) the brush. The road is new, smooth as glass, and clean, and only really used I think that is why I let my attention lapse...boy did I learn my lesion.
