Today I yesterday I got shoulder checked by a pedestrian for absolutely no reason.

We were on opposite sides of a wide MUP and I was riding <8 mph. He looked at me and started walking right towards me and then threw his shoulder into me as I rode by. I stopped and confronted him about it and he said he didn't see me and it was an accident. I figured something was mentally wrong with this guy because he was wearing a giant down winter coat in the middle of august. I didn't want to start anything with him since you never know who's got a knife or gun so I just dropped it. Still pisses me off though. There are tons of guys on mtbs that fly down the MUPs going 15+ weaving through people and I could see someone throwing an elbow at them but I was being totally respectful of the other pedestrians.
