Seems like the mentality is that wrecks happen and i have never heard of any lawsuits occur.

In the old days I never gave this a thought but now with the high price of machines or in the rare instance where someone rides without a helmet in a group I cannot help but wonder?

Anyone explored this at all?
almost always when situations like that occur, riders are extremly close together (hence the reason they dont have time to react)

from a legal standpoint it is their own fault that they wrecked their bike, because they were traveling at an unsafe distance from another rider

thats the law. but common curtosy would probably dictate if its a smaller crash that you caused, you probably owe the rider a little something
