Hurricane Irene knocked a tree down, and I did my best to clean up, armed only with a small hand saw and a pair of lopping shears:
Corner of Landing Road and Carpenter Ave, in Glen Cove , Long Island. The pile on the right is the cut branhes, I stacked them there. The main branch of the tree was like 12 inches in diameter, and I could not cut it, in fact, I was afraid that it would drop if I did any more cutting. I used an old Suzuki fairing as a road cone, but the batteries went dead.
