i get up at 5 every morning and i train. up until recently, "train" meant go as fast as i could for 3-4 laps.
i have changed to aero bikes since last season, and that helps, but i usually make an effort NOT to be aero when i train. i don't draft anyone. aero is for races
I got a power meter & signed up with Dave Jordan's team to get some more structured training.
(I can give you more info on that if you want to hear)
the power meter is interesting - i'm still getting used to it and haven't gotten around to doing the power tests, but it is nice to be able to have a pretty much objective measure of effort. like, "i'm going to do 300w for the next 10 minutes" or whatever.
