To add to mechBgon's comments, you'll also need a new bottom bracket (might have been obvious) and you'll need to lower your front derailler for the smaller big chainring and readjust tension(less obvious). There's also a small chance that you'll need to shorten your chain but unless you are already on the edge of a too long chain, that won't be necessary.
