I can see any bent issues and all looks normal as far as I can tell with the fork and frame. I did put a slightly shorter stem on it tonight and it fits me better now, but it doesn't have a relaxing ride to it.

I still have to tension up the spokes before I venture out of the neighborhood with it, but I'm starting to think it may be an outbound candidate. Oh well, I had such good hopes for it. I'll wait to read any replies before making a decision on it.
Something sounds wrong. Are you sure you have the right fork? It sounds like someone added rake to the fork, i.e. it's bent forward.
