Usually about 250+ miles over 5-6 rides/week (when life doesn't get in the way).
I live in the San Fernando Valley & work downtown. I ride anywhere between there and Camarillo & Pasadena.
I have 1 wife, 5 kids (2 in jr. college, pay their own way!).
If everything works out, I have two general schedules (school teacher, off work July & August, natch). When not commuting, except for Thursdays, I get my riding done in the mornings, and am done before noon.
Summer:
Mon - 50 miles, hilly club ride
Tue - off
Wed - 65 miles club ride (20 hard, 45 easy/solo)
Thu - 35 miles intense, fast-paced group training ride
Fri - 15 miles easy, short solo ride
Sat - 100 miles (50 fast paced group training ride, 50 solo)
Sun - 35 miles easy club ride or race

Rest of the Year:
Mon - 40 mile rest/recovery commute to/from work
Tue - off
Wed - 40 mile commute to/from work
Thu - 35 miles intense, fast-paced group training ride
Fri - 40 mile rest/recovery commute to/from work
Sat - 65-100 miles (50 fast paced group training ride, rest solo)
Sun - 35 miles easy club ride or race
