Let me just make it clear that I have nothing against the Vintage-Trek site. In fact it is one of my favorite resource site that I love to just check out for no particular reason. And yes, I used the word frustrated, but in no way did I mean to be critical about the site itself (sorry if I made it sound this way).

It was more related to the fact that I did not know any other place to find catalog shots of Trek bikes. I found an attractive 1400 on CL, but could not find any original pictures, hence my original post.

Well, tugrul directed me to the right direction, thank you for that. I now can use Vintage-Trek for the list of model numbers by year / color, since that does include aluminum and retrobike for the pictures. I'm happy!
