Utterly irrelevant.
I don't see why the fact that thousands of riders rider these bikes, even in competition situations, with nary a single problem, is irrelevant.
It's THE MOST relevant info we have on the topic. While it's true I don't have the hard numbers on failures (probably nobody does), it is also true that on these forums, the # of posted carbon failures with these generic frames is very, very low, and definitely not any more prevalent than failures from other major known brands. And you know that if folks were getting failures on these forums, you'd see it - along with gory pictures, and lots of flaming.
If these frames had only been out for a year or two, I'd definitely pass. But it's been at least 5 years now of widespread distribution, with dealers like Pedal Force putting their company name on them, and it's still all good.
This is for me, the MOST relevant data - actual, real world use by thousands of individuals.
Someone used to have a sig here that said "The plural of anecdote is not data."
