Today I made a computer mount for my TT bike.
I changed from straight to warped aero extensions about a month ago and I still had the straight extensions lying around.
Selling them didn't work out ... probably because it's a small market and they were already cut by the previous owner.
My computer had been on my stem until now but it isn't properly visible there from the aero position.
I cut the extension even shorter and then I used an electric sander to make a pointy edge on the narrow end so that it would sit firmly against the underside of my stem.
On the wide end I put a plastic cap on it.
Then I made a small incision to fit a ziptie so that I could firmly secure it.
I also used quite a bit of tape to make sure it wouldn't move.
The computer now sits neatly between my forearms where it is clearly visible.
It hardly even takes any wind since it is located right behind my hands.
Just did a little testride and it's great.
In the future I can use this mount for a more advanced computer but for now this one is good enough.
