Nicer still would be a mount that didn't need to be clamped to a dirty great tube, but oh well...

Back in the day I had a computer mount that could unclip from the plastic bar clamp, so I fashioned a bit of ally plate to hold it in front of the stem, secured in the stem's bar clamp by the pinch bolt and sitting in the gap. Was tres neat.
