I'll be at the CCC century ride as well...which is what brought on this search for a new saddle...wish I would have started sooner though. I rode the BR century last fall, my 1st, and am really looking forward to the CCC one. I will probably join the this week.

Concerning the water issue, I return from most rides soaking wet from perspiration. It seems this would make a leather saddle sag, but with so many people loving the Brooks for touring and commuting, I guess it can't be that much of an issue.

Did you consider the Max Flite when choosing the Avatar or Turbomatic?
