While 80's style TT/funny bikes may not command the same price as their road race counterparts they are much more rare. This particular bike, missing its top tube cable guides and shifter bosses is toast forever.
I respectfully disagree on both counts, at least on the local market funny bikes command a premium, most likely due to the fixie people. On the second part, I would fix up the paint in the damaged areas and run it with aerobar mounted shifters, or brifters on bullhorns for the occasional tt that comes along (the bike in question happens to be my size
