Absolutely nothing. I categorically disagree with Mr. Strickland. When I get on my bike I have no racing impulses whatsoever . . . never did, never will.
I ride because I just love to ride, to be self-propelled yet able to cover great distances as opposed to walking or running. I just love the mobility.
