Pat McQuaid just reeks of a pathetic incumbent politician willing to do anything for re-election.
All we need or want from him is a "we'd like to thank the riders for upholding the spirit of sportsmanship"-type of comment, otherwise shut up.
Considering the scope of the job at hand - cleaning up the peloton - a junkyard dog was and continues to be needed.
Don;t know McQuaid, but sure seems like he fits the bill - sinks his teeth in and doesn;t let go.
