A pulley puller would work also.

A standard automotive pulley wheel remover would do the same, and probably as well. A fancy one will do it straightaway: http://www.billetflow.com/Pulley_Puller.htm But you can also use a cheap harmonic damper puller http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/pu...ock_puller.jpg
by screwing the puller bolts into nuts and fender washers behind the crank.
