I'm into vintage audio gear, much to the dismay of the wife. But it takes me back to a simpler time.
I rebuilt these Altec 19's. I found them without the correct xo's and thick varnish. And the grills were busted up.
So I stripped the cabs and refinished them.
Patched the enlarged holes for the xo's.
Built Z19 xo's.
Built new grills.
And done.
These M19's are simply outstanding with my AU-D11 II.
