Zippy, yeah I do see people on MTB's sometimes parked there on green river but I still think the majority is road bike riders. I assume the mountain guys are hurling their bike over the locked chain link fence, or the locked gate I saw yesterday is an anomaly.

The ridgecrest entrance is the safe and 100% legal solution to my problem.
